嘉義民族管弦樂團於 107 年起入選為嘉義縣傑出演藝團隊至今，以深耕國樂及推廣普 及化為目標、開創性的跨界節來拓展「國樂」定義，樹立獨特團風格與藝術走向。嘉義民族管弦樂團不單只有演奏國，除了讓愛者聽見更多屬於的聲音發展出嘉義國樂的新模式，同時也將多方嘗試跨界演與舞蹈、戲劇媒體各種結合型態，為觀眾不斷打造創新的聆賞感受嘉義國樂永續發展嶄視野。 Chiayi traditional orchestra (CTO) is an outstanding artistic performance team of creative level in 2019. Our goals are to popularize traditional Chinese music in local chiayi, through innovative cross-border program to extend the definition of traditional Chinese music and establish distinct style of orchestra and unique trend of artistic performance. CTO not just only performs traditional Chinese music, but also lets music lovers hear much more Chiayi local sound. At the same time, we also try to integrate the traditional music with dance, drama and multimedia, to found the new pattern of traditional Chinese music of Chiayi. We hope to bring the new auditory experience for audience, and create the brand-new horizon for CTO sustainable development.
