🌿 Supporting Indigenous Agriculture in Brazil 🌿
In Dourados, Mato Grosso do Sul, the UFGD University is weaving together traditional agricultural knowledge and academic training—offering courses that empower Indigenous and non-Indigenous students to grow sustainable, ancestral crops.
During the making of The Eternal Song, we visited this remarkable teaching garden and met students cultivating seedlings of traditional fruit trees—seeds of resilience in a region scarred by deforestation and toxic monoculture farming.
✨ With proceeds from our previous film The Wisdom of Trauma, we donated $5,000 to help Indigenous students return home and replant these trees in their communities.
The impact is already visible:
🌱 Traditional crops are taking root again
🌱 Food sovereignty is being restored
🌱 Harmful agricultural practices are being replaced by sustainable alternatives
And this is just the beginning.
With your support, The Eternal Song will help:
🌿 Fund more Indigenous students in reviving traditional agriculture
🌿 Restore more lands to ancestral cultivation
🌿 Rebuild ecological balance in one of the world’s most affected regions
Every time you host a screening or watch the film, you’re part of this living web of repair.
